Hollis Crossings Day Camp

 Hollis Crossings Summer Day Camp is an exciting, active, and faith-filled summer experience for children in grades K-5. Kids will spend their days running, playing, exploring the outdoors, and forming friendships—all while experiencing God’s love! Hollis partners with Camp Tomah Shinga, an accredited camp with the Lutheran Outdoor Camping Association, to provide experienced staff and a fantastic program. 

During the week, kids run, play, jump, explore the outdoors and make new friends … while experiencing God's love for all. 

Hollis receives both staff and day camp programming from Camp Tomah Shinga, which is part of the Lutheran Outdoor Ministry Network.

This year's theme is "Your Story," inspired by 2 Corinthians 3:2-3, 

"You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone.  You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. 

Campers wear clothes they don’t mind getting dirty, closed-toe shoes like tennis shoes (no sandals or flip flops), hats, 

 sunblock and bug spray. 

 Campers bring a sack lunch each day, except Thursday;

snacks and drinks are provided daily. 

50% of our campers are children who would not otherwise have a camp experience. Thanks to generous scholarships from Atonement Lutheran, Kaw Prairie Community Church, Salem Lutheran, Trinity Lutheran, and many individuals, about 20-25 children will get to attend camp this year.

Kids that have completed 6th-8th grade can assist with actitivies, snack prep, photography, etc. 

Teenagers and college age kids are eligible to volunteer as assistant counselors. 

Adults are welcome also!
